The Center

We began the Center in 2005 with three primary aims:

Innovating: to study and write about the application of narrative psychology and structure in coaching and, in particular, how to work with the story material and field as the basis for transformative development and change.

Teaching: to develop professionals around the world in the art and science of these narrative principles and practices so they can make a greater difference with their clients.

Consulting: to provide expert guidance and facilitated learning to help leaders, managers and teams create an integrated coaching strategy and a sustainable coaching culture.

The Work

We work directly with professionals and clients as well as through partnerships with leading universities and thinkers in the narrative and coaching worlds. We firmly believe that the challenges and opportunities our clients face increasingly require a multidisciplinary approach. We ourselves draw on our strong background in both organizational development and adult development as the basis for our systemic approach to coaching in organizations. We see coaching as a way of life that informs every aspect of how people work in and run organizations. We will continue to adjust and align our offers to support the global quest for a more sustainable and enlightened Story.

David has served over 70 clients in the past 16 years of working with organizations and communities. He brings keen insight, deep knowledge, and a clear presence to work with people who are serious about living and leading with greater clarity, compassion, courage.
